Washington State First of all, if you buy this car the first thing you must do is take it for a drive...you're going to have a tear in your eye. This car came from an old man collector who lives in Mount Vernon, Washington. I had traveled over 120 miles to buy a Nova that turned out to have 3 different shades of green on the body so I passed. Feeling dejected, I was heading home when I looked over and saw this '57 sitting on the side of the road with a for sale sign on her. She saved the day. This car runs as good as you could hope for with mad power and a solid feel. She will roast the tires all the way down the block and is one of the best driving '57's I have been in for a very long time. She has a good paint job that is older but has a ton of shine and from ten feet looks new. The chrome is in fine shape as well with no rust and is straight. The body is very straight and the original trunk pan is as solid as the day she left the factory. The floors are solid minus one patch where the heater core leaked out 25 years ago but it is not indicative of the car, she is rock solid through out. The absolute best part of this car is the drive. You will do cartwheels and that's a promise. She really runs excellent and has a lot of power. The exhaust has a nice rumble but nothing over the top. She is just wicked in the driver department. The motor came out of a 1963 Impala and the trans is a newer 350 Turbo and both have 4k miles. HER BRAKES ARE A1 in the stopping department...power disk! The gentleman I got her from had ten cars and all of them were set up to drive excellent. That is the #1 one thing this '57 provides...smiles and no breaking down.
