1938 Chevy 1 1/2 ton dually truck, originally built as cowl and chassis by Chevy and fitted with a coachbuilders custom body. Good original sheet metal mounted on a 1986 Chevy Dually wrecker chassis. The chassis front end has been narrowed 6" and the framed boxed from the cowl fwd. I originally intended to build this as a replica armored car as they were originally all custom built. This project comes with a mounted rebuilt 350 chevy engine with custom stainless steel headers and is coupled to a rebuilt torque converter and a rebuilt turbo 400 automatic. All of the parts in the photos are included in the auction. I have a clear title as a 1938 Chevrolet. The wheel base is 135" and the overall length is 17' 4".
