WWII Chevy 4x4 "TONKA TRUCK" G506 Military 2-ton dump truck. HEAVY DUTY EVERYTHING! This is the original U.S. Military crawler in original running/driving/dumping condition. Hi-Low 4x4 with amazing clearance and traction. For restoration, work, or show, this truck gets the ooohhs and aaahhhs wherever it goes. Chevy 235 fires right up and runs good with no smoke. The engine is in excellent running condition. Brakes need bled. PTO and dump work great. Tires have good traction but some checking from age and use. Montana is a dry environment and this truck is virtually rust free. Overall condition is very good with some dents and dings from 72 years of use. Truck could use some some basic maintenance and reconditioning, but is a good solid truck. Original heavy-duty running gear. The frame reinforcement "fish plates" are extremely stout. Military gauges are very nice. Interior has "air conditioning" fan. Seat is torn, please see pictures for details. Extra large military gas tank is in the frame, not behind the seat. This is a very clean truck. A perfect platform for restoration or mods. This truck was delivered 6-42 in full military regalia including black-out lights and gauges. Then it became a plow truck in Montana and was painted yellow. CLEAR MONTANA TITLE. This is a 'no-reserve' auction with no 'buy-it-now' price. Highest bidder wins the truck.
