youtube link- http://youtu.be/KjvDXIMrOiQ I built this Jeep to be reliable on the road and capable off road, it has been a nearly three year project, frame of restoration. Starting with the drivetrain, Dana 30 axle up front, new wheel bearings, calipers, brake pads, rotors, u joints, steering stabilizer, ball joints. The rear axle, factory Dana 44, new brakes and hardware. New stainless brake lines front to back, extended stainless steel braided brake lines per axle, new brake booster and master. Additions to the suspension include shackle reversal in the front, spring over axle conversion, new factory leaf springs, new Pro Comp 9000 monotube shocks, new spring perches. New power steering box. The frame was sand blasted, repaired and painted. Custom transmission crossmember. New rear crossmember. The body is from a YJ, no rust or bondo. The front clip is original CJ steel. New YJ fender flares rear and new CJ fender flares front. The floors inside have been Rhino lined. Original carpet. Family style roll cage installed with new coverings, new seat belts front and back, new seats including the deluxe seat in the back. All seats fold forward. Deluxe center console. The engine, original 4.2, 258 inline 6, rebuilt by the local speed shop and include, new pistons, Rings, push rods, 3 angle valve job, valve train, all new bearings, oil pump, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, HEI ignition, new radiator, interstate battery. Electric fuel pump, Weber 38 synchro carb, Digital air fuel ratio gauge under dash. Dual header, 2 inch exhaust out the back, Flowmaster muffler, new catalytic converter. New fuel lines, original 20 gallon poly fuel tank. All wiring has been gone over, everything works, including all the gauges, original clock and tack, dome lights under dash, roll bar, and hard top work. Heater works great. Delayed windshield wipers and sprayers work. Premium sound system including, Pioneer head unit, CD, HD Radio, auxillary Jack, USB port, new rockford fosgate speakers in dash and sound bar, pioneer amp and pioneer subwoofer. All new exterior lighting, including conversion headlights, KC driving lights. New Mickey Thompson 33/12.50/15 MTZ tires on Dick Cepek DC-2 matte black wheels. Jeep comes with two tops and two sets of doors. Original CJ hardtop and full steel doors excellent condition. Bestop gray soft top with all hardware and YJ steel half doors in very good condition. I have driven the Jeep about 2,000 miles and worked out the bugs. This is a very capable Jeep and could be slightly modified for full off road or as it is for an everyday driver. I have been meticulous throughout the project and it has come out the way I envisioned. Now it's time to move on to the next project.
