This was my summer work vehicle till the frame broke on the right side at the lower control arm. (Rust) Was going to fix with a replacement frame and rebuild at pre this site (http://geometro.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=449) but my winter ride (4X4) broke down as well so got a newer vehicle to replace them both. This Geo Metro LXI has all service records from the day i got it. (2006 with 29,000 miles). I only used Pennzoil 5W20 full synthetic oil and it doesn't use a drop between changes. Just tuned up in July 2013. 5 speed with new clutch, pressue plate throw out bearing in July 2013. New arternator, shocks, struts, battery, lower control arm (right side) brakes (front and rear) and brake lines, all within the last 2 years. New exhaust from motor back in June 2013. Runs strong. Starts right up. 45/52 MPG. I would keep and fix this little car if I didnt have to have a car right now. Everything works, horn, lights, Headliner saging. No radio. Body is in good shape but a dent in driver side rear. Rest of frame and body in good shape. Fix it and drive it, or keep for parts. Hate to see it go but I have no room for it now.
