All I can say is… Wow… Up for sale from the original owner with the original dealer window sales sheet and books, here is one of the healthiest used cars I've personally driven and it's a true example of a one-owner babied car. It is a 1998 coupe with the V6, 5-speed manual transmission, and although 170k miles on the clock you'd believe you were driving it off the showroom floor as it sounds great and feels super tight. All the mechanicals are top-notch on this one. The V6 sounds great, the five-speed shifts smooth without a hair of play in the shifter and no pops or grinds from the gear box. The clutch grabs right in the middle and the pedal feels great, the brakes are strong, the suspension is smooth and doesn’t make a peep over bumps, and it has a factory replacement limited-slip differential from the Ford dealer. The engine is bone-dry and there are no puddles of any kind underneath, the exhaust does not smoke, and the car does not burn a drop of oil. No lights are illuminated on the dash, the gauges all read how they should with exception to the speedometer which will intermittently move between 0 and 80 and stay there, the next day it will operate fine. No issues keeping you from fun summer driving aside from you may choose to put on new tires but they are safe to drive as-is. The interior of the car is just unreal with the two-tone dash looking new and the seats do not show the slightest sign of ever being sat in but that’s how you drive a car so you’ve got me beat. The seats are comfortable with no tears or rips and don't even show any bolster wear. Never seen a puff of smoke, no stains, the headliner is like new, and all the power options work as they should including windows, locks, aftermarket radio/cd as the only diversion from originality, heat is red hot and a/c is ice cold with the fan working on all settings. There is a factory-installed alarm with working electronic door locks. The body of the car is very nice with beautiful original paint, no dents, hardly a ding or scratch but it's still a driven 16 year-old car so I didn’t go under a microscope. Factory ordered when new are the GT 16" wheels and rear spoiler wing. There is a bit of clear coat fade on the hood which is negligible and no peeling, just a bit of color fade and your typical small nose chips which is usual wear and tear. Some touch up on the front bottom valence was done to cover paint chips but no cracks in the plastic and no signs of any collision so just superficial cosmetics. You’ll be impressed with the look of this one from any angle.
