(Ted & Seth Davis)We specialize in clean late model Repairables.Here we have a 1978 Ford F-350 Crew-Cab truck that we brought a few years ago from California with the intention of restoring it with a 7.3 Liter Powerstroke conversion and a 4X4 drivetrain. As many of you know time gets away from you on these projects and we have not found enough time to work on it so we are offering it for sale in hopes that someone else can finish it.The truck started out life as a Factory Yellow Longbed 4X2 that was owned by an Electric Co-Op in California. It was brought from them by a guy out there who intended to transform it it into a Baja race truck. He shortened the frame and added the short bed, reworked all the front suspension for more travel and removed the heater box, and other accessories from the firewall area. He also ran out of time so we purchased it from him just the way you see it now.The truck is 99% rust free since it was from the dry desert area out there and we have stored it inside since we have owned it so it has been preserved well.As you can see there is a lot of work to restore but we think it will be worth it since these trucks are very rare and buying it like this you can choose any power train option that suits you. The engine in the bed is a 460 truck engine and is supposed to be the one that came with the truck but we have not run any numbers on it since we were going with a diesel. There is a lot of other parts inside of the truck and an extra rust free door in the bed that goes with it.
