1971 Honda CL

Up for sale is a very clean, but original 1971 CL70. Chrome is in great condition with very minimal pitting considering it's age. The exhaust is nearly perfect, with only a slight scrape on the end of the muffler. Because it's a 1971 this bike came original with a rare combo of the later style tank and sought after early style exhaust. The all original metallic blue on silver paint really stands out and offers that classic vintage Honda 70's look. The bike has been ridden, so there is light wear on the original seat cover, but no major rips or tears. Tires are holding up just fine, but do have slight dry rot. The taillight lens is scuffed, but included in the sale is a brand new lens. The tank has been coated on the inside and is pealing a bit, but I haven't had any problems as a result; no leaks, no problems with the petcock, but worth mentioning. Bike starts first kick, and shifts smoothly through all gears. All lights work as they should. Bike is registered in Vermont and ready to transfer to buyer-- a bill of sale will also be issued if requested. Please read the description and review the pictures carefully before buying.
