Vehicle Detail

Bought this van in 2007 in south western Kansas it had been sitting several years since the original owner had not been able to drive. I purchased it from his son not running. I replaced the original 307 V8 with a four bolt main 350 with aluminum heads and roller rockers. Also it has aluminum finned oil pan and valve covers. Also stainless headers and 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. It sounds great and is very powerful. It also has a rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission in place of the original three speed automatic. The rear end is a limited slip 10 bolt from a 1979 Trans Am and is 2" narrower than the original making the 8" corvette rally wheels not stick out past the 7" rally wheels on the front. All four tires were new last year and have very few miles. Front are 215/70R15 rear are 255/50R15 they are BF Goodrich. I also put on all new Monroe shocks last year. After I drove it a couple years I took it apart and stripped it to bare metal. As you can see from the pics it was as solid a van as you could find. It did have a few bumps and bruises but all was smoothed out and it was painted inside and out in 2010. At that time I installed a NEW windshield and new rubber around all the doors and windows including the vent windows. Also new window track on front door windows. I have driven it a lot since but it only has a few minor chips. I have never put the original headliner or all carboard side panels back in as they are not perfect. I do have all of them. The rear second and third row seats are original and in very good condition. Front seats have been redone. I have never drivin it in the snow, salt or bad weather. It has a heavy reciever style hitch and pulls my boat great. Boat is of course NOT included. I'm sure I'm missing something so ask questions before bidding. It is sold as is where is. $1,000 Deposit due within 48 hours of auction ending in cash or Pay-Pal balance due within 7 days in CASH no exceptions. If you can't do this call me BEFORE you bid. Brian 260-668-6192On Mar-04-14 at 07:17:40 PST, seller added the following information: Ok to answer some questions that have been asked and my answers didn't get posted due to using ebays app on my phone. Last summer I gave it a tune up this included plugs, cap, rotor, wires and a NEW HEI distributor with a MSD module and high voltage coil. After the tune up I took it on a 600 mile trip. On the trip I got right at 20mpg on the highway at 75-80mph the differential has 275 gears and with overdrive trans it likes to run that fast. Around town it gets around 12mpg. I wanted to change the gears to 350-1 gears for better stop light to stop light driving. Next is the paint. It is Dupont base coat clear coat with lots of clear coat. I was going to fine sand it and buff it but never got it done, I have never even waxed it. It looks great as is and I get possitive feedback all the time. It allways sets inside so it still shines like it did when painted in 2010. It was voted Best in class at Bakers van show the last two summers and there was lots of great vans there. Thanks guys!!! Now to the guy that bid $10,101 and retracted his bid stating I changed the description. Ebay will not let you change the description after the item has a bid. The only thing I did was add one pic and now ADD this to the description. I guess you found out what you wanted but you could've just asked. So to set it fair the reserve is set at $9,500 I know I have asked people selling cars what there reserve is and they wouldn't tell saying that wasn't fair. Well I figure that $9,500 is the very least I will take so everyone might as well know it. I feel if everyone knows then it is fair. Also I have had offers to end the auction, the highest one was $12,500 I can't say for sure if he is going to bid as he seemed upset I wouldn't end the auction. It may turn out to be my loss. The Van needs to be paid for in CASH within 7 days. If this is a problem please give me a call BEFORE you bid and we will work it out. Also it needs to be picked up in a reasonable time here in Angola, Indiana which is in Northeast Indiana right where 80/90 toll road and interstate 69 cross. Thanks Brian 260-668-6192
