Four overhead camshafts, 4-valves per cylinder and a variocam plus variable valve timing with a lift integrated dry sump lubrication system WOW... some sophisticated performance engine. This engine is matched to 8 speed transmission with auto start stop PTM (Porsche traction management). Of course it's an all wheel drive system with independent double wishbone suspension, PSM (Porsche stability management system)...What's nice is that the performance is 0-60 in a mere 5.4 seconds! Having driven our Cayenne S it is an excellent handling vehicle, very spirited smooth V-8 with an aggressive cockpit style layout reminiscent of the Porsche Panamera. The center console has upwards of 50 buttons that rises sharply up to meet the dash and the large touchscreen display.
