No Reserve Auction !! This bike WILL sell here this week !! This is a 1977 BMW R100RS. It is in great shape. Runs good. It has Denfield luggage with it. This is a great bike and has been freshly serviced and is ready to ride. See the list below for work accomplished. This is the 1st year for the R100RS, and it has the blue pinstriped wheels, blue anodized front brake calipers, among other 77 model year only items. The odometer is showing 90,373 miles, but it the odometer is currently inoperative. Speedometer works fine, just odometer not working. Only other item not working on this bike is the temp gauge. Everything else works great, including all the lights, gauges, signals, generator, brakes, etc. The bike looks great cosmetically, nice original seat, nice exhaust. The blue pinstriping on the body panels appears to have been done by an amateur and isn't the greatest, but looks okay from a few feet away. The recent work performed to this bike, includes the carbs ultrasonically cleaned, and adjusted, new front fork seals, front brake system flushed, all components disassembled and cleaned, front calipers rebuilt with new seals, then system filled with fresh fluid and bled. New air filter and battery. Fresh oil and filter change. Cylinders and heads removed to replace all pushrod seals. Pistons and bores measured and inspected,found to be in very nice condition (looks like recent top end rebuild). All new fuel lines installed. Several instrument light bulbs replaced as needed. We have test ridden this bike approx. 25 miles and it runs and rides great. Needs nothing. Ready for the open road. List of new parts installed: 1. Air filter2. Oil filter3. Battery4.
