This auction is for a 1967 Camaro SS (clone). This car features what appears to be a 350 C.I. Factory 250 HP engine. (HF coded stamp pad) With the headers, 3 inch exhaust, aluminum intake manifold, edelbrock carburetor and trick flow air cleaner, the horsepower is significantly higher than the original 250 HP. The ten-bolt rear-end with 4.11 gears will spin the rear tires but only until the meaty Radial T/A 275/60/15's are warmed up. The original rally wheel look wrapped in thick rubber not only keeps the car planted well, but the wheel wells are filled perfectly. The front tires are 235/60/15's to give complement to those front arches. The 3-speed turbo 350 transmission shifts strong and keeps this car going into highway speeds. Driving and parking are a breeze with the original power steering set-up. The 4-wheel drum brakes have recently been redone and create a lot of stopping power. The gorgeous bolero red paint ( a 67 Camaro original color ) along with the black wheels and black interior, make for the classic hot rod look. The paint has a gorgeous clear coat that has been protected by indoor storage. The paint is still very fresh (less than 6 months) and came at over $4K through a local painter that I work with. On top of new paint, the car also received new emblems, weather stripping, and a new windshield. The cosmetics were all gone through within the last year. The interior is mostly original and has been cleaned up to best match the gorgeous exterior. The undercarriage is clean and shows no signs of rust. The car received new shocks all the way around just a few years back. The 3 Inch flowmaster exhaust runs from the long tube headers back to just before the rear axle and dump down for some extra sound. The headlights, turn signals, and brake lights are all in working order, the center fog lights, and high-beams are also working properly. All windows roll up and down correctly, and the brand new window felts, ensure that the windows don't rattle. The trunk has been redone to its original look. The engine bay has been cleaned up to match the rest of this cars cosmetics. A new fan shroud, hoses, belts and hood insulation, all play a roll in creating the gorgeous scene under the hood.
