1980 Suzuki PE 175 This is a 1979/1980 Suzuki PE 175 2-stroke, original owner. The bike ran fine the last time I started it, about a year ago, but the tank recently cracked, not by a fall, but from a hot day (the plastic tank just was old and brittle). I have a new tank for it, which is included with the bike, but it has not been installed. The replacement tank is an universal tank, which looks to require some drilling or modifications. I decided instead of making the modifications to install the tank, I'd offer it up at a significantly reduced price. This way, the new owner can decide if this is the tank they want. In addition, the rear brake light cover is missing. This bike has been well cared for, so it is in good condition. The left handle grip should be replaced. Be sure to use the photo zoom tool to get a closer look at the bike. I have the Certificate of Title, so this is ready for a smooth transition to its new owner. Included are two manuals: 1) Suzuki PE175 Owner's Maintenance Manual, and 2) Moto-X Fox Guide to Preparing the RM and PE Suzuki for Competition. In addition to providing valuable information, there are pictures of some of the great riders like Roger DeCoster, Danny LaPorte and more. Fun to look through! It was brought to my attention that this bike may be a 1979 and not a 1980. This may be the case, because I thought I was riding this bike before 1980, but my Certificate of Title states it is a 1980, so that's what I'm posting it as. The Suzuki Owner's Maintenance Manual looks to have been printed in 1978. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
