1965 Pontiac GTO Great Father & Son project. This car was recently pulled from a barn where it was stored for over 20 years. It will need a complete restoration inside and out. Restoration was started by the last owner. Body has been off the frame, at that time the frame was sandblasted and repainted and new shocks and break lines were installed. The car has bucket seats, air conditioning, tinted glass, manual transmission, GTO hood w/ scoop. New parts include, head liner, Eddlebrock aluminum intake, rubber body/frame grommets, New floor pans (they need installed), new right rear tail light. All other lights and correct GTO trim look good. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. Buyer to provide any inspections they want. Car is being sold as is with no refunds, and no guarantees. You are buying a project car that will have some missing parts. On Dec-03-13 at 14:51:57 PST, seller added the following information: Odometer reading is - 04054 (most likely 104,054 actual miles.) Car comes with two engines, (we were told), one is a 326 with a 2 barrel, the second one is a 398 with a 4 barrel. Car also comes with 4 new Gragar brand chrome rims. New tires are M+S Road Hugger Radial G/T Two P195/70 SR 14 Two P225/70 SR 14 Both front floor pans are bad. On Dec-04-13 at 14:45:20 PST, seller added the following information: Unable to add any more pictures. The following is codes and numbers for the two engines that you will receive with this auction. Engine #1 - 9778789 Casting 713100 YF = 389 325 HP. (Turbo 400 Transmission / do not have this tranny), and one 4brl. Carb. Engine # 2 - 9778840 Casting 258637 WP = 326 250 HP. (3 speed transmission / have this tranny), and one 2brl. carb. On Dec-06-13 at 18:13:50 PST, seller added the following information: New information shows that this car does not have the 5N trim code used to identify a true factory GTO in 1965. The GTO trim was added after the car left the factory by a previous owner. Please note that the 389 engine is not a 335 HP as stated in the title, it is a 325 hp four barrel engine.
