NO RESERVE AUCTION!!This auction is for a 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This was the last year for the Stingray. The Good: The body and interior are in very good condition. The frame is solid. It has new brakes, rotors, stabilizer links, Aluminum radiator, and 2 1/2" aluminized dual exhaust, with Flowmaster mufflers. The Bad: The woman I got the car from inherited this car from her uncle. He just had the motor all redone, and she said it was too powerful for her. So, she bought the car to a 'Corvette Specialty' shop in Westchester, NY to have the motor rebuilt back to stock. Well, after jerking her around for 6 months, she had the car towed to another shop. When she did this, the 'Corvette Specialty' shop gave her a junk crate 305 back, as her motor. She ended up taking them to court. I think shes still fighting it. But she decided to get rid of the car. She returned the junk 305 to them. So, there is no motor. But, I do have the T10 transmission. The car comes with a clear NY title. This car is also listed locally. So, I reserve the right to remove this auction at any time. I am interested in older cars hot rods, Gassers, etc., especially 55-57 Chevys.   This car is being sold prvately, and therefore, is being sold 'AS IS', WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES IMPLIED. I try to describe the vehicle as best I can. But, sometimes, I do miss some things. So PLEASE, If you have any questions, ask them BEFORE YOU BID. The buyer is responsible for picking up or having the vehicle transported. We can help to load the vehicle, if needed. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction end. The balance is due, in cash, BEFORE the vehicle can be picked up.
