oldironfarmer Store 1941 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck Great candidate for a complete restoration. Has been off the road since 1988 and stored indoors. No attempt has been made to get it running again. The truck has a later 50's 235 inline 6 cylinder with original trans and driveline. Was told it ran when parked, still has its old 6 volt battery in it and keys. Oil is clean. Most of these old trucks look better in photos than they actually are. This one is the opposite. It looks worse than it is. It has some paint that looks like it was rolled on. originally the truck was green and that is still underneath. The body is very solid and only has dings. It was a plumbers truck and has a side pipe rack and mount for a vise. Both were done very well and I left them as found.These can be removed easily without damage to the truck, they are only tacked on no solid welds. Bed has diamond plate latin in over original bed wood underneath. I have a better front valance for under the grill, it is included. The truck has an original rear bumper and brackets (hard to get). It rolls and steers and e-brake works. The front wheels on it are from my 37 gmc and will stay with me. The truck has a set of later 1950's 6 lug wheels and hubcaps. I will have "roller" tires put on before auction ends. The only thing I see missing is the windshield crank/handle. The windshield frame is solid (see photos with window open). Windows roll up and down. No heater. THIS TRUCK HAS NO TITLE. It was lost before I acquired it. It does have original vin tag and both black CA plates. The truck is "out of the system" in CA and no longer on the books. If this is an issue for you, please pass. Please ask questions before bidding.
