Vehicle Detail

1996 Honda Civic Dx, engine cared for but NEEDS TRANSMISSION. The good: 1. New clutch installed a year and a half ago (cost $900.00 & I have receipt to show for it) 2. Spark plugs recently changed 3. Oil changed regularly and last done not long ago 4. brake pads are good (I have an extra set too which is included). 5. It steers perfect after I installed outer tie rods and got an alignment last year. 6. The battery was purchased a year ago at Sears and is in great shape. 7. The Pioneer radio puts out good sound and is included as you see pictured. 8. The AC blows very cold air. 9. No internal lights are on, no check engine light, no airbag light, because everything works. 10. The front bumper cover was cracked so I purchased a new unpainted black one and installed it about a year ago. 11. Mag wheels (14") The bad: 1. The rear bumper cover was painted to cover residue from prior bumper stickers but the paint has been peeling off. 2. The front driver side fender has a slight blemish from being hit while someone backed into me at the Post Office parking lot a few months ago (see pictures). 3. The driver side window gets stuck and is difficult to lower. I installed a new window track since the driver side window kept slipping off the old track. 4. The biggest issue is that the transmission is on its way out. I installed a new clutch about a year and a half ago but apparently, the transmission needs to be replaced per my local repair shop. (This is a huge expense and I have decided to sell the car as-is instead.) Gears 1 & 2 work ok. However, gear 1 gets stuck and the car will stall out if you are in gear 1 and not moving. Gear 3 works but requires holding the shifter in 3rd gear, otherwise it will slip out. I have been able to drive on 95 doing this for short distances and have been able to go 55-60 mph. However, I don't advise doing this for long distances. I am the second owner and purchased it 4 years ago from the original owner. I prefer local pickup but will have it delivered if necessary. Questions are welcomed. This is a no reserve auction so the starting price is the least amount I'm willing to accept. Extras: I have an extra set of headrests, throttle body AND alternator which I will include with the sale. There may be other items as well. I forgot to mention, the radiator was leaking coolant so I replaced the radiator about 2 years ago. Also, I still have the stock Honda radio and will include it with the purchase.
