You won't see two of these at the same cruise.This one is as solid as it looks, and it drives nice too. After sitting 20 years in a garage, the present owner said that about all he did was patch one small area on a fender, and re-paint the car in it's semi flat green color, and make a few mechanical repairs and improvements as listed below. As far as the owner knows, the 43,000 miles are actual and it is stated as such on the title. The engine to runs great, the car handles well, shifts good, and stops as it should. Everything seems to work except the gas tank sending unit and the heater works but may need a thermocouple to make it function correctly.While there is no power steering, the car is easy to steer without a struggle as some of the older ones are. The master & wheel cylinders are new or re-built. The radiator & heater core were re-done also and new hoses were added. The vacuum wipers & squirts also work. All glass is very good, as is the interior including door panels & headliner. The easy to repair armrests need attention. There is an aftermarket stereo installed and even a tissue dispenser and fan in the rear window for defrosting. The mags and old school wide whites add a touch of nostalgia, but the original wheels with real good tires go with the sale.Don't forget that these old Ramblers have the fold down seat backs that turn the interior into a double bed. No need to pull a separate camping trailer for that fishing trip when you can stretch out in your own cozy rolling bed!
