He bought to restore mechanically and when he was done enjoyed it a little before moving on to the next project. It sat tucked away in the garage for 2 years before I was given the opportunity. She fired right up with a new battery and fresh gas. I drove her 30 miles back tot he shop with no issues. This 66' has her original block, heads and manifolds. The 327 was totally rebuilt about 6 years ago and has less then 1000 miles on her. I mean PROFESSIONALLY rebuilt not "backyarded". He had the 4 speed rebuilt at the same time along with all the bushings, front end, exhaust, 4 wheel disk brakes, headers, steering box and clutch. Because of this work, you can expect a superb driver. SHE IS WICKED! The interior is an 8.3854 out of 10 and looks very sharp. No major issues. All the gauges EXCEPT ORIGINAL TEMP are working. The clock actually works along with the original radio. The original hardtop is in real fine shape. The only thing missing are the original bolts that hold top down but they are 3/8th so we found two and they worked. The paint is way older but still looks great from 20 feet. She has plenty of little blemishes but nothing major. In fact this car is really a paint job away from being done and ready for what ever. You can enjoy her the way she is though. Original color was red and this color is a little off of that but looks very good on the car. She does have flared fenders but I have the replacement fiberglass if you like the stock look. A lot of the work has been done. 1966 CHEVY CORVETTE STINGRAY CONVERTIBLE

I purchsed this car from a long time family friend who bought her in 2003 in Las Vegas. This is a solid solid car with a very good body and absolutely zero rust on the under carriage. This is an absolute excellent driver and is not far from being a showtime.
This Vette has her original block, heads and manifolds. The 327 was totally rebuilt about 6 years ago and has less then 1000 miles on her. I mean PROFESSIONALLY rebuilt not "backyarded". He had the 4 speed rebuilt at the Same time along with all the bushings, front end, exhaust, 4 wheel disk brakes, headers, steering box and clutch. Because of this work, you can expect a superb driver. SHE IS WICKED! HE also hadded brand new tires and new american racing rims. You will be absolutely over joyed with the driveability.
