This is a 1937 De Soto, Custom built 1/2 ton Pickup. It is a one of a kind, as De Soto didn't make a pickup! It started as a 4 door sedan that was cut to fit a 78 Ford 1/2 T chassis. So it has a 302 Automatic with power steering & power brakes. It also has the engine mount for an Air Conditioning Pump if you want to take it further. This is a running, registered, unfinished project, as I see it. Some of the work done was amateur, but nothing a talented builder couldn't solve. I think it is a great start. The truck runs strong. The windowfs need the felt runners and due to that, do not properly operate. have spare parts complete window assemblies.
