Vehicle Detail

Old Henry certainly had one of Ford's BETTER IDEAS before the catch phrase became popular when he designed the Model A Coupe. This beautiful antique has great lines and has never had any rust or damage as far as we know. The second owner had the car professionally restored to the best standards for quality and originality about 20 years ago and barely drove it over many of those years. It was an extremely solid car before the restoration with no rust or accidents ever as far as we know and it shows. Always garage kept, the present owner then purchased it about 7 years ago and she really doesn't drive it much either. She did have a few modifications made for safety and driveability such as the Mitchel 2 speed, hydraulic brakes, modified pitman arm for better control, and the 6 volt alternator. The car runs and drives nice, and to make it back to a first class antique, you may want to give it a minor tuneup & take care of a very few small cosmetic issues. As shown in the pictures, the paint will need to be re-worked along the 2 piece hood at the hinge, there are a few small and barely noticeable stone chips, and one very small area on the low end of the driver's door panel that could use some attention. The daughter of the present owner knows more than many Ford mechanics and agrees that this is a very solid car that can be driven well as it sits, and you could enjoy driving it while you take all the time you need handling the minor issues if desired to make it show quality. I am assisting the owner in the sale of this fine classic and can answer most questions you may have or arrange a personal inspection if desired. Call Jack at 330/389-0456. I do not text. If you have less than 3 positive feedback you MUST send your name & phone number BEFORE you bid. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be received within 48 hours of auction end and balance received within 7 days of end of auction. PayPal is ok for deposit only. Balance by bank wire transfer or cash. Mileage listed in description is not the mileage. I forgot to get it when I listed the car and will add it in the next day or so. Sorry. On Jul-14-13 at 07:00:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I went over again today to check the mileage and it shows 4,661 miles. We have no idea as to how accurate this is, but the car did sit in storage for over 20 years. Also, I noticed an area of bubbling on both sides of the cowl at the low end where the rolled lip is at the base of the cowl. I do not think this would be very hard to repair if you wanted to, as it is not very noticeable. Look close at the walk around video of the passenger side. It is so minor, it is hard to notice, but I want you to know about it. On Jul-16-13 at 15:50:00 PDT, seller added the following information: My phone broke yesterday, so if you have called and left a voice mail, they have not yet been able to recover them for my new phone that I got today. Please try calling again since I have a new phone with same number. I may not yet have voice mail, but it appears that I can at least retreive missed calls. I have phone on from 6:30am to 9:30pm eastern time daily.
