Up for sale is this nice vintage what i beleive to be a 1978 Suzuki RM 400 which is mostly original. for starters this bike has very good suspension front and back very plush This bike came out of a long dry storage - tank drained new fuel bike started right up and RUNS BEAUTIFUL, VERY HIGH COMPRESSION. 402cc is the engine. everything works as it should shifts thru all gears, super nice tires these tires have definalty been replace as they are in super condition good quality tires!!! the seat has a couple rips see pics, handle bars are a little bent and should have new grips and possibly a right handle throttle tube, but does still work ok. keep in mind this bike is unrestored the only thing new is a set of tank decals, . the one negitive thing i found on this bike is the gear shifter has been welded on to the shaft this was a vintage repair and looks to be done well - like i said though the bike shifts through all the gears fine see pic of the weld. i also beelvie this bike to have all the original factory plastic intact- will not take a lot of work to get this bike looking like a show piece. i have priced this bike accordingly to leave some room if a new owner wanted to install new shifter shaft for a 100% restore. super bike for what i am asking!!!! any questions please ask.
