Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1976 Honda CB550 in exceptional condition with only 5939 original miles. From my perspective, this is the most desirable SOHC Honda after the early 750's. I am not going to write a long marketing narrative. I will let the photos speak for the bike. If you are in the market for a 550 SOHC, you will appreciate this bike. As far as I can tell, all original except for K&N air filters and tires but I have the original air filtration system which I will provide. The chrome, exhaust, and rims are exceptional. The tank is clean inside. The only significant defect is a 2" shallow crease in the top of the tank. Of course some of the clear coat is starting to peel away and a small amount of rust is beginning to form. I ride this bike a few times a year. It is beginning to run a little rough and after it is stopped and sits, there is some gas seepage from one of the carbs or hoses I believe. I have too many bikes and not the time to attend to this lovely bike like it deserves. Clear TX title. I have found U-Ship.com to be an effective and economical method to transport MC's. You can depend on me to cooperate with your shipper. On Apr-23-13 at 13:05:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a YouTube video of the CB550 running, starting, revving, and a 360 degree walk around taken on 4/23/2013: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjhFaHL00rc&feature=youtu.beOn Apr-25-13 at 16:26:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Tires are not originals. They are Cheng-Shin 3.5x19, front, 4x18, rear.On Apr-28-13 at 07:35:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Various people have asked me what I meant by "rough running" and about the fuel seepage. I'm probably overstating the "rough running." I mean it can hesitate or surge at higher RPM's. I discovered the leak stops if I turn the pet cock off after running. I doubt this low mileage bike has been serviced more than a couple of times and in my opinion, could benefit from a tune-up, carb sync, perhaps replacement of some fuel lines, and it needs to be ridden more often. I probably put less than 100 miles on it in the last couple of years.
