Don't let the beautiful Minnesota Spring fool you, the summer car shows are right around the corner! And this is the most snow these white walls have seen in countless years! This car has undergone a complete restoration, with some pleasant creature comforts added. On the whole, it's a very original vehicle. It has all the original dash gauges, original 3-speed manual and the original flathead straight 6 cylinder engine. I personally find the flat 6 a nice touch, rather than the all too common flat 8. Even the hood ornament reads "6". I like that, it sets this car apart and if you're concerned about horsepower, it's only about 10 one way or the other. 90 or 100, somewhere in that range. Not a quarter mile hero with either powerplant! The interior has been upgraded with reclining leather bucket seats and armrests. I love old 40's bench seats as much as the next car guy, but I have to admit modern seats have their benefits. You can drive longer without fatigue and the front and rear seat belts are great for the whole family. And with the reclining function and headrests, everybody can get comfortable and enjoy the cruise to the car show. This car also has a new headliner, new door panels and new carpet. It even has a pleasant, quasi new car smell on the inside! Mechanically, the car is perfect. New brakes, tires, steering components, suspension and more. The brakes stop straight and true and the parking brake works flawlessly. The original flat 6 engine has been completely rebuilt, painted and tuned up. No noises or smoking or any of that. It proudly wears its original 1-barrel carburetor with hand operated in-dash choke. The carburetor and original fuel pump were both completely rebuilt and cleaned. Clutch is strong and steady, no chatter at all. The transmission shifts smooth and easy. Exhaust is all new as well, with a single cherry bomb muffler giving a very subtle rumble. Gas tank was professionally flushed. The cooling system features a complete and professional rebuild of the original 4-core radiator. This engine does not overheat! The electrical system was converted to 12-volt and has a brand new battery, starter solenoid, alternator, cables and more. The original dash gauges are not hooked up as I prefer the accuracy of the aftermarket gauges. They can easily be hooked back up with 12-volt to 6-volt in-line resistors, which i can provide. Speedometer works perfectly. Underneath the dash looks proper and professional, NOT a spaghetti bowl of amateur and frightening wiring. Windshield wipers are in place but I haven't even used them since I would never drive the car in rain. I do not know if they work. I think that's just about everything. Oh, undercarriage is very solid with only very minor surface blemishes. Absolutely no rust through, as you'll see in the pics. Cosmetically, the car is gorgeous. Paint condition is a very high quality driver. Not showroom perfect, there's a few nicks here and there, but no door dings, accidents, ripples, etc. If you happen to have any questions, i am more than happy to answer them. Let me see if I can answer some right now that I think I may get... I do not have the original seats. I do not have the original radio. I do not have the bumpers. I am the third owner of the car. I bought it from a gentleman locally here in Minnesota who had bought it from the original owner a couple years ago. The original owner's grandson had done all the restoration and took a lot of pride in his work, doing it right the first time. This classic has been well cared for since the day it was made. I have an immense amount of pride in this vehicle but could use the money. I stand behind it in every way, it will make somebody a very happy person! Thanks
