THIS IS A WELL PRESERVED MOSTLY ORIGINAL, IF YOU WANT TO RESTORE ONE, THIS IS A PERFECT CANDIDATE WITH CALIFORNIA AND WASHINGTON HERITAGE. This is a very rare 1967 Bentley 2 Door James Young Edition. There were only 10 of these made. This one was purchased in Pasadena, California from a Rolls Royce Dealership in 1977 by the current owners. This one is rumored to have come from France by way of the UK before coming to the US in 1977. This one is not quite a survivor but is really most original. This one has had one repaint by Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills in 1980 and a replacement vinyl top around the same time. The mileage on the odometer says 56k miles but I am not sure that's the original mileage. They purchased the car with 30k miles on the odometer and have put 25k miles on it in there ownership. It would need plenty of work to be restored to a #2 but if you just wanted a driver then it would need only a little. Mechanically, this is a sound car. The 6.25 liter is in fine running condition and the 4 speed trans are in good operating condition. She does start up nicely and feels strong. She has been routinely kept up and exercised a little and has never sat too long between visits. The body on the car is solid. If you were looking to restore some of this British royalty then you would be happy to have this one to do it with. She is very solid and no evidence of rust issues other then the typical mild surface on under carriage. No cancer on body at all. The top is nice and there are no bubbles or tears. The paint is shiny but is 32 years old..... ....Driver? Great Paint job!!.... ....Showcar? You need to make an appointment.... The interior is ALL ORIGINAL and in good shape but needs some attention. The leather still serviceable however. The original carpets need to be straightened out a bit or redone. The wood is pretty discolored and needs to be restored with some of the lamination peeling. The dash over all is still nice however. The radio works but the power antenna does not. There is the original 8 track as well. Not sure if it works...I am fresh out of 8 tracks.
