I bought this and a 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express (check my feedback) from a gentleman that owned it for around 20-22 years. This is a rock solid driver and with some mild cosmetics could be a real keeper. This one has the original numbers matching 383 which over the years has had work done but not sure if ever rebuilt. She sure runs strong though and shifts on time. NO SMOKE!! I just had a new brake booster installed and she stops good now. She has drums all the way around. I have taken her to a few local car shows and have had zero mechanical problems. The body is in great shape. There has never been an accident in this car from what I can tell. All the gaps are near perfect. The gentleman I bought her from knew the car for 15 years before he bought it. It spent a lot of time in the garage sitting until he bought it. The paint that was on it was quite old so I had her repainted in her original color. There were plenty of scratches and a few dings and only a couple of surface rust spots which were ground down and taken out. I had her resprayed in her original color and she shines real nice but she is not a show car. This is a driver with the bones to be a #1. The chrome is original and still in real good shape. The interior is mostly original with the front seat being recovered in the 80's. The headliner, door panels and dash are in fine shape. The back seat has a couple splits on the seams and a little dry. The interior is still good but not perfect. All gauges work except for the gas gauge. I tried to fix but they sent me the wrong sending unit so I am hoping they will resend the correct one. If there is time, I will gladly install. If not, I will send with the car. If you are looking for a nice driving Mopar with no rust and needing nothing more then some cosmetics and detailing, consider this car.
