I found an inexpensive replacement at autopartswarehouse.com . Around $250 and free shipping. -The mirror selector switch is broken. The electronic part works however the physical selector switch is plastic. It is broken. Fortunately replacements can be found on e-bay for $19.95 (includes shipping). See: 1995-1999 CHEVY SUBURBAN MIRROR SWITCH NEW OEM# 15009690 -There are a couple small spots on the door edges where the clear coat is peeling. The paint underneath is still intact. -The vehicle has some slight hesitation on acceleration. This is most likely due to the California Emission on the vehicle. These can easily and legally be removed (outside California) in order to gain hp and remove the hesitation however it was never severe enough for me to pursue it. -The headliner has a small tear in it and a gap on a seam (as shown in pictures). A plastic piece is missing from the right/rear seatbelt. This doesn’t impact the functionality. In the recent past, I have replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump/sender, exhaust, starter, distributor cap and rotor, 4 wheel brakes, front rotors, carpet, inner door handles, all door lock solenoids, window motors, windshield and more. I did notice a water leak a few years ago and that is what prompted the new carpet. I sent this to a professional that found 6 water leaks. He re-sealed everything and replaced weather stripping etc… At that time, I also repaired the rocker panels and sprayed it with chip guard. Some of the rust has formed again but no rot. A front Bull Bar was installed with auxiliary lighting. The lighting works well to light up the night. The rear seat is not shown in the pictures however is in perfect condition. I will install that before the end of the sale (takes 2 minutes). 2 sets of keys, original window sticker and owner’s manual included. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere.
