Offered for your bidding pleasure, a 1979 Ford Fairmont Futura. Appears to be all original except plug wires and such. I believe its the original paint and landau vinyl roof. Amazing condition. A real survivor. It runs fantastic, with firm shifts and quiet smooth power. I was surprised the first time I drove it with how peppy the engine is. Starts instantly, and purrs like a kitten. Absolutely no smoke, leaks, or any funny noises or knocks.The Fairmont is built on the Ford Fox body. The same platform for many cars including Mustang and Lincoln.Very nice body with no rust. Very solid. Drop in a big V-8 and have yourself a hot rod or pro street car that you dont see everyday.Its nice to see something other than a mustang or camaro on cruise night. The only bad spot is the headliner needs replaced. The backing is still good, it just needs some material glued back on. ( I owned it for a week before I noticed it.) Also needs the A\C compressor fixed. The car was born with air, but there are no belts on the compressor, and it turns kind of rough.
