2002 Jeep Wrangler X*** NO Reserve*** Up for sale is a 2002 Jeep Wrangler X. The Wrangler is the Apex Edition which came in three color choices: silver, black, and blue, and included the Cognac Ultra Hide Seats. This black Apex Edition comes equipped with the powerful 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine and 5 speed manual transmission. The engine has 106,509 miles and runs smoothly. In my opinion, the 4.0 liter engine is the best Jeep makes. The 5 speed transmission shifts through all gears as it should and the clutch is nice and tight. Front pads have plenty of life in them and the jeep stops as it is suppose to. The Jeep comes with the hard door package, soft top and fully padded roll bars. Although this Jeep is being sold with a NY State flood salvage title, there was no water in the engine, transmission or transfer case upon inspection. All major electrical components are functioning as they should, including heat and AC, defroster, lighter, KC fog lights, Alpine CD Player and Sound Bar with built in sub-woofer in console. The lack of water damage may have been due to the height of the Jeep, as it sits on Dunlop AT 33 x 12.5 x 15 LT tires. It also features Old Man EMU gas pressurized shocks absorbers and front and rear spring suspension. They are mounted on high gloss black Mickey Thompson Sidebiter wheels. The Jeep wasn’t started until all fluids were flushed including oil, and the oil filter and AEM COLD Air intake filter changed. Differential fluid was checked and my mechanic confirmed that everything works as it should. Jeep frame has been por 15'ed to prevent future rust, but is otherwise solid in all areas. There are a couple of spots that have surface rust (see pictures) but, no holes or weak spots. Jeep front floors are solid. Again, in my opinion this Jeep has plenty of life left in it and theses vehicles are truly great in all four seasons.
