We ran this Lincoln last week, but ebay tech difficulties would not allow us to add more pictures. Now running again with interior pictures. Its a very low reserve for a car this nice. The mileage works out to be around 1100 miles per year! Here is the best of the Mark series that Detroit ever made. 1979 Mark V Collector Series. The pinnacle of luxury in 1979 and the end of an era. This is my all time favorite Lincoln in the world, and I believe its also the longest length Mark that was made. Remember the ads for this car? Movie actor and T.V. star Tom Selleck was the man about town, driving a blue Mark V Collector. The cost of a 1979 Mark V Collector series was almost double that of a base Mark V, listing at over 21,000 dollars, making it THE most expensive car made in North America.This one came out of a friends private collection that is being downsized. Now is your chance to own this dreamboat. Beautiful, quiet, and so smooth you cant tell its running. A little over 40k pampered miles. Never any rust or accidents. Not driven in bad weather.Completely original except for brand new radial tires, and shocks. Brake pads appear to be new as well, and for such a big car, it will stop on a dime. Plush blue velour interior is in excellent condition. Everything works as it should.Ice cold air cond. It has obviously been well taken care of and not abused, but it has been driven. There are a few small chips and scratches, but nothing major. Im not trying to run the car down, just being honest.
