oldironfarmer Store This truck is a 1951 Chevy Shortbed, 3100 Model 1/2 ton. The truck needs restoration and is not currently running. It has been sitting and was last registered in 1991. Has Original 216 Motor. 4 speed granny and has a PTO. Body is mostly solid with main area of rust on cab passenger side. The cab corner on passenger side has no holes but has heavy bubbling under the paint and will need a new corner patch panel. Also on the same side the front pillar right in front of where the front fender bolts to the cab has rust thru. The other side of the cab is good. Frame is good and straight with no rust. Bed sides are nice. Drivers rear fender is beat up. The truck has 4 hard to find Artillery Wheels. Glass is all good. Dash is original and uncut. Basically the whole truck is stock, unmoleted and a great place to start for a full restoration, rat or street rod. I do not have a title for this truck. I bought it that way and will sell it that way. It is "out of the system" here in CA. It does have its original engine number, original vin tag on door frame and both CA blue licence plates. NO TITLE. Built Feb 1951 in the Los Angeles Plant. I will hold for 30 days while transportation arrangements are made. I have a hauler I use here in CA that can deliver very reasonable, just ask for price. $225 to Bay Area and $325 to LA area.
