I am selling this car after purchasing it from the estate of the previous owner that passed away. Mike Mathison located this car in 1985. He spent 7 years restoring this sedan from top to bottom. Using many N.O.S. and hard to find German parts. He finished it in 1993. Since than it has traveled only 491 maintained miles. Always stored/covered in a heated garage. This is one of the finest example of a 57 oval window that you are going to fine. Perhaps one of the best restored 1957 sedans that has been listed on ebay. Everything was disassembled and taken down to bare metal then painted with the correct factory enamel paint: as per factory spec. Jack Bruck and Chip Knight are credited for the paint and body work. In some pictures the blue color is not the true horizon blue as seen in person. The overall restoration is credited and tributed to Mike's dedication to get it right.
