Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan ES. Has 192K miles, but you would'nt even know it by driving it. Features the 3.8 V6, dual sliding doors, stow and go seating, leather seats, 17" alloy wheels, tinted windows, and all the typical power options. Van runs and drives very well. Engine runs smooth and strong, transmission shifts smoothly, and the entire suspension is solid and tight, with nothing worn. Best of all this van has spent all of its life in Florida, so there's no rust or rot. Alot of the common failed parts known on these Caravans have been replaced within the last 18 months, including the well known transmission that usually fails on these. That was replaced/remanufactured at 167K miles, so that's out of the way. Other parts include all new brake pads and rotors (Wagner brand rotors and premium brakes) Both CV shafts have been done, lower ball joints, steering rack (another common failure) power steering reservoir (common), new starter, alternator, battery, intake and valve cover gaskets (also very common), both front headlights (due to fading from the Florida sun) and recent tune up with plugs/wires. Maintenance has always been done at regular schedules as well. The exterior paint looks nice, with only a few scratches here and there. Again...no rot or rust, including the underside, which is super nice. Interior is also in good shape with no major wear. The carpet shows some normal wear from being a 12 year old vehicle, but overall clean. The rear hatch does have a small dent at the botton, and is kinda tweeked because the body gaps on hatch are a little off, but it opens and closes as it should with zero problems. Again...Alot of money has been put into the van within the last 18 months but there are still a couple other minor things it needs for it to be a near perfect van. It does have a small oil leak, which appears to be coming from the crank seal, not the rear main seal, because that was replaced when the transmission was done. It's common for these crank seals to just dry up and let oil seep through, and being this van was from the hot Florida weather, it does'nt surprise me. Only other issue is that the heater is not blowing as hot as it should be. Not sure of what that could be, but I already purchased a new 2012 Grand Caravan so again... I just can't put any more money into this one. These minor details does'nt prevent it from being driven though. Aside from those minor details, this van is going to make someone a great vehicle. If you're near me and want to come take it for a test drive...you're more than welcome to. In fact I urge anyone's who interested, and lives nearby to come test drive and see for yourself what a nice riding and driving van this is. The autocheck /Carfax history report is flawless. No accidents, flood damage ext... Vehicle must be picked up in Apalachin/Binghamton NY area. It runs and drives great, so driving it long distance won't be a problem. Just drove from FL to NY in Oct, with zero problems. Payment will be made by cash only, sorry no checks, bank checks, ect... Feel free to e mail me any questions you may have. Thank you.
