Vehicle Detail

LOW RESERVE IS SET MORE THAN $1000 BELOW KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUE (good cond)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CLEAR TITLE, LOW MILES, NEW TIRES! Just a small amount of rust on one side panel (barely noticeable--see photo), should be an easy repair. Interior in excellent condition with NO rips, very few spots on carpet--probably easily cleaned, all major systems have recently been upgraded including some engine work, brake lines and tires, however there may be some minor repairs needed within the next year; and therefore the vehicle is being sold as-is. An inspection prior to pick-up would be welcome. All documents are available for repairs during the past 3 years. Carfax report also still available from purchase date in 2009. There was one accident prior to my ownership where a deer was hit, the windshield and headlights were replaced, however there was no mechanical damage, and it has driven perfectly fine for me the last few years; no accidents during my ownership. Sorry about the mild dirt on the photos, didn't have time to wash it, but although hard to tell from the photos, the paint is in great condition!!! I am a non-smoking work at home mom, with 4 children, and I have only driven it about 3000-5000 miles a year on average. The car has been maintained well. It is a great minivan for a small young growing family. It served me well for 3 years. It is just time for a larger vehicle now as most my children are getting older and the 4 child still needs all his gear. I'm happy to answer any questions, or even show the vehicle by appointment to local buyers. Please don't ask for the reserve price, though, in fairness to all concerned. Thanks for looking! Happy Bidding!! On Dec-27-12 at 09:47:49 PST, seller added the following information: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THANK YOU FOR BIDDING. WANTED TO MENTION A FEW EXTRAS I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE LISTING, THE VAN HAS A ROOF RACK--I BELIEVE IT WAS INSTALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER. IF THE BID GOES BEYOND $1800 I WILL INCLUDE A LARGE STORAGE BOX FOR THE TOP OF THE VAN--GREAT FOR ROAD TRIPS! I HAVE A CARGO NET (FOR THE REAR CARGO SPACE) STILL NEW IN THE BOX WHICH CAN GO WITH THE VAN ON REQUEST--NO CHARGE. I JUST PULLED SOME OF THE REPAIR RECORDS TO GIVE YOU MORE DETAILS ABOUT WHAT HAS BEEN DONE DURING MY 3 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP. The major items that were done were the fuel lines, the brake lines, the tires of course (all weather), ignition line, ignition switch, filler neck, battery and some new plugs, etc. There was no major engine work required, in addition to what I'm listing here, so this would fall under what I called "engine work" on the original description, I do not believe any other engine work was done on the vehicle--nor was it required (during my ownership). All of this was done within the past year (Oct 2011, Feb 2012 and after). There were some other minor repairs, all of which will be indicated in the documentation you'll receive with the car. I believe the car is in need of struts and spark plugs, minor repairs I guess for someone knowledgeable in this sort of thing. There is also an undiagnosed fluid leak, either gas or oil, not sure, the dealer checked all the major systems in February because we did have a gas leak, but all the fuel lines were then replaced, they did not find any problems in the engine block or transmission at that time, the fuel lines are all new, it is running fine, transmission does NOT slip, it just leaves a spot when sitting for a while, and I haven't invested money into finding its source, it might be the gas tank, but again not sure. An experienced mechanic can probably find and fix the problem economically. THAT'S ABOUT IT, THANK YOU FOR BIDDING! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!On Dec-27-12 at 10:11:12 PST, seller added the following information: On Dec-28-12 at 15:52:59 PST, seller added the following information: Just need to let you know, I turned on the car to check how much gas is in it, and make sure it starts, since it has been sitting mostly in the same spot for the past couple of months, and one of you wanted to come see it.  I was going to pull it out and check to see if there is anything leaking, but there is a snow bank behind it so I wasn't able to today.  Anyway, it started fine, and has about a quarter tank--which means there isn't a gas leak unless the crack in the gas tank is above where the gas is.   The bad news is that the engine light is coming on and off.  It might be nothing, and the engine was checked in the last year, there is nothing wrong with it, but since the light just came on, and tomorrow is Saturday, with a major storm coming my way tomorrow, I have no way of getting to a garage to check why that light is coming on.  In the past, it was due to a fuel leak, but then the fuel lines were replaced and it hasn't been on again for a year, so I have no idea why it is coming on now, I can assure you it wasn't when I parked it there.  I just wanted to let all bidders know.  I will be happy to bring it to my local garage to get it read on Monday, so if it says it might be a major problem, I'll give the high bidder the opportunity to back out at that time. If this affects anyone's bid, please retract it immediately, before auction ends.
