You are bidding on a pre- owned 1999 Chrysler Town Country ( which is an upscale for a popular DODGE CARAVAN) in Champagne Gold color outside / gray leather seats inside sold by owner! we have this van as a family car for 6 years, bought it locally used from a dealer and really enjoyed it- never had any problems- now kids went to college, so we do not need it- will be glad to sell. Both engine and transmission runs very smooth, and it handles the road very nice and stable! We live in a country, so it has highway miles! Clean title/ no accidents! Engine - it is a great truck engine- 3.8 with AWD- a very powerful combination! It runs without any bad sounds, it was never a "check engine" or anything bad, no overheating, no smoke- a good horse. I recently made a full Engine tune up! new cables, sparks, air and gas filters! Timing belt has been changed! Automatic transmission- WORKING smooth, no leaks. I serviced the transmission ( trans tune up ) at 98K and at 144K. Water pump has been changed a while ago ( 2-3 years ago). I maintained the brakes regularly- front was changed recently, I have under 5K on it after it was done and now it's in pretty good shape. Third Raw seat which folds down and also both second and third raw could be easily removed for cargo space. We install a premium Sony car stereo with IPOD/ MP3 in- works fine. additional futures are : Heated Seats, Leather seats in fine order, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, memory seats, TINTED GLASS, Roof Rack, Windows Spoilers, Car Stereo+ AM/FM, Dual Air Conditioner ( front/ back adjustments), Airbags, convenient lights for driver, and passengers etc. We are non smoking family- so the car smells good Car has 5 doors- 2 sliding doors- great option for large family with kids! the mileage is about 181K- highway miles! The Power train is in good order, engine (fuel injector) was serviced every 3 K and never been in a problem! 3.8 V is a very good & dependable engine! No major leaks! The power steering loosing the oil a bit- I was adding a bit every month. The AC needs a check- I didn't add any Freon for a while and it was pretty weak, possibly some Freon line leaks. Also some noise at ac belt, though once heated it sounds better Rust- minimum rust for this age, the body is OK, but some rims are rusty, you can see it a bit on pictures, especially back door at the bottom- I recently cleaned it, put some putty; spray painted some rust spots, but it's there. the back door is not original- it had problems with locking system, so at one point it was easier to get the whole door from the junk yard. Suspension: Front Shocks or struts need to be changed. on eBay they sell those for under $100 a whole set. On a good highway- there we mostly used it- you do not feel it at all, but if you go to the city, you know right away- you need better shocks! Battery- I didn't used the car for about 6 months, my kids went to college last year and the car suddenly got no use and at the moment the battery is OK, but it drained to a no sound and I had to power it up before the sale, so I cannot guarantee it. Most of the muffler has been changed recently, so it's in good order. Alloy rims, good tires, but I think I have different tires on the car Even the car is running- it is an old fellow, so it is as-is, I cannot warranty anything, but I try to be honest describing it at my best! We were really happy with that van and hopefully you will find it good for the price! clean title- you bid send money -pick it up and drive it back- Il have the title ready- you just need to get to DMV for registration.please ask questions before you bid- not after you bid!!! your bid as an obligation to buy!
