It was in fantastic condition and the price was right. I lost the opportunity but it came up again for sale so I purchased it. Now, I must sell this really nice… 1988 PONTIAC TRANS-AM GTA This car was formally owned by a mature certified GM mechanic. The body is solid, straight and rust free. Pictures show top surfaces Have age related paint fade. It has mostly stock original factory 5.7 350 engine, with Black Jack Headers, Bigger injectors, newer valve springs and new GM Fuel Pump. Rebuilt 700 R4 auto Transmission with shift kit and B & M deep fluid pan. 2300 Corvette Torque converter. The suspension and frame have been vastly improved with welded Under Chassis Brace, welded F body Frame Connectors, boxed in Trailing Arms, recent mufflers and Edelbrock Torque Arm to 327 posi rear. It is factory equipped with updated and maintained front and rear disc brakes. There are dual fans with 190 degree fused wiring. There is a custom made under spoiler ram air tube to engine air filter. There has been recent ball joints making the front end solid and responsive. The driver side door had a driveway dent so a new GM door skin was applied. The interior and trunk area is nice, clean and mostly original. The Power Lumber Bucket seats work great. There is a new console door top. Stock radio and speakers work and sound fine. Includes 4 seat belts. Rear removable seats are not matching. There is an Auto Meter shift light tachometer, 4 gauges, & a nice standard shift pattern. Hurst shifter and line lock. Interior door top trim pieces are almost new. Headlights, digital dash and all lights, horn, wipers, door locks, power windows and power mirrors all work. Car is PA inspected until Jan. 2013. AC will need a charge but I had planned on removing it. This would make a great street car or an excellent street eliminator drag race car or both. Motor and transmission are super strong. Includes factory jack. New purchased Aug 1, 2012 Megatron Plus Battery. The original aero type rear spoiler was cracked, removed and replaced with a more drag racing oriented Camaro spoiler. A complete original deck lid with original GTA spoiler will be included if wanted. There is a new PA title in my name.
