On Feb-04-12 at 11:53:44 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several interested buyers ask me about the the " auction announced as unibody damage" on the Autocheck report given. This is what I can tell you about the report. I purchased the vehicle from Elite Motors in Chicago which is a high end sports car dealership. At the time I looked into purchasing it the same report showed up on the Carfax. I asked the dealership to be able to have a private garage in the area look at the vehicle on a lift to see if I could determine if the vehicle had been in an accident. I found nothing that showed there were new parts or anything had been repainted. The paint around the vehicle all matches and looks to be of the same age. On higher end vehicles such as this each body part has a stamped ID tag with the VIN number on it as a theft deterrent . The hood, trunk and all four fenders have matching VIN ID tags on them. I was able to purchase the vehicle two years ago for a touch over $20,000. That was over $5000 less than book value at the time. In the past 2 years I have put 11,000 miles on it and have had no trouble at all. I did put 4 new pirelli tires and four wheel alignment. When it was aligned it was true to specs without problems. . The power steering hose had a small leak and I had them replaced. Front rotors and brakes have been replaced also. If you should have any other question please email me.
