This combination was connected to a performance 3.23 rear axle ratio instead of the standard 2.56 or 2.73 that came in the standard Trans AM.Pontiac also included a unique shifter that had the ability to work in a Manual-Automatic mode letting you shift one gear at a time.Lastly, the WS6 option was added to the order sheet. And you all know how important that is to have on your TA. The 15x8 Snowflake wheels, special steering box and larger sway bars are just a few of the reasons this is such a great option. This is the only year you will find all these options in a Trans AM. When you add that to a car that is painted the very unique Martinique Blue color, you have a genuine collectible Trans AM.
