This is a 1985 Chevrolet Corvette. I am selling this car for an estate. It starts and runs fine. It sat for about three years, but I drove it to work for a couple of weeks and got a lot of the bugs worked out. It drives fine. I have had it up to 80 while passing with no issues. It does leak transmission fluid from the base of the dipstick tube, but as long as you keep the fluid full, it shifts fine. The paint is missing in a couple of spots as pictured, and the clear coat is peeling in several spots. The interior is in fairly good condition for its age. I have done some cleaning, but it could use some more. All of the computer stuff on the dash appears to work except for the fuel guage. The family says that worked before it was parked, so the float is probobly just stuck. The temps and fuel milage readouts all work as they should. The radio and power antenna work. The interior lights were staying on and draining the battery, so I pulled the fuse which is also the fuse for the antenna. The power seat works, the mirrors do not appear to work. The car does not have cruise control. The engine fan does not kick in. It should just be something easy electrical. The lights all work including the cornering lights. The tires have good tread, but are weather cracked from sitting. I will put current tabs on it before it is picked up. I would have no problem getting in this car and driving several hundred miles, but I probobly would not drive it across the country without checking it out better first. I have tried to list everything I know wrong with the car, so this ad may be a little heavy on the negatives. Overall, It is a decent drivable car that I would say does not have anymore issues than the average car of this age and milage. This vehicle is selling with no reserve.
