1988 Chevy Corvette 35th Anniversary Model, Serial #419 of 2050 produced, all original other than the tires which were purchased new 1,500 miles ago. The car has been garaged and covered for the last seven years that we know of. The car is a California car purchased in the San Diego area. The 35th Anniversary Model was made in triple white and was limited to 2,050, the lowest production of any Chevrolet Corvette Produced in an anniversary model. All of the cars were a coupe model with a removable roof panel with two top options, one clear top and one solid top. This car comes with both tops. As mentioned the car is white with a white leather interior and white 17" Aluminum wheels. The white leather steering wheel shows signs of wear, white Leather door panels in good shape, white matching seatbelts in good shape, white matching power sport style seats, the drivers seat is missing the power switch on the left side of the seat, power windows both operating well, digital dash, the dash needs backlighting bulbs that are burned out in three areas, original Delco/Bose Sound System working well, V-8 245 Horsepower with 114,195 original miles. The air conditioning and heating vacuum vents need repair and are not operating properly. The headlight motor bushings need repair so the headlight hideaway motors operate properly. The car has a new radiator, hoses and serpentine belt but has been sitting for about three years. There is a trickle charger on the battery to keep it charged but the car needs work. It will run OK for while and then cut out like it isn't getting fuel. We believe the car needs a new fuel pump since it hasn't been driven in some time. Overall the body is in excellent condition as well as the paint and the car has never been in any accidents according to the Car Fax we received when we purchased the vehicle. The car is missing the center piece of one 35th Anniversary emblems on one side of the hood as well as the center of the emblem in the console inside the car. The interior is in OK shape but the leather seats show some wear and light cracking but no tears. The dash doesn't have any cracks in it and the carpet is in good condition on the floor boards and in the rear of the vehicle. The automatic hatch release is working properly as well. The weather stripping on both side windows is cracked in several places due to age. When driving the car it sounds like one of the U-joints in the rear end needs to be replaced. Overall the vehicle is a nice project car for someone that has the time and the interest in the vehicle. A complete file with receipts of the work that has been done on the vehicle, Car Fax, the original owners manual and a set of Chevy Corvette service manuals come with the car. The car will run long enough for inspection of engine performance and a short drive. The vehicle is being sold "as is" with no warranty. The vehicle is in non-operational registration with the DMV and is being sold as such. Thank you.
