Fantastic 1957 BMW R26. I got this about a year ago for puttin around on. I just bought a Ducati Diavel, so this one must go. Great little bike, always cranks up. This is an old bike and is unrestored. Looks like the front fender has been painted over at some time. There are 2 dents in the exhaust. I changed out the petcock because the original broke. I put on the Pegasus single seat and handlebars because they look cooler. I have the original seat and other parts around and you can have them too.Cranks up easy. The light switch is a bit tricky but I can expalin it to you when you buy it. Probably needs to be replaced. I put a new battery in it last year and it is in excellent condition. Put brand new tires on it as well. The original ones were dried out and cracking. Brakes work as well as a 1957 should. Great bike. Local pickup is preferred. I will drop it off for shipping at best. I am not arranging shipping etc. Have the title, but in Alabama they do not take titles on vehicles this old, only bill of sale. But I do have the title. Has 235 miles on the ODometer but I do not know how many real miles it has. THe odo was probably changed out. So I do not know how many real miles are on the bike. I put about 75 on it.
