Vehicle Detail

Hold on. Lots of pictures downoading. If you're going to bid on this, you should bid early, because it's being sold locally and through Craigslist. So the auction might be ended at any time. We can make a deal including delivery. So, don't think you're too far from here. The van has 59K miles on it. The original owner did all but the last 10K. We bought it for our vacation a couple of years ago, we put new exhaust in it and and spent less total on it than the cost of a rental. (We did the same thing recently with a motorhome, buying instead of renting, and sold it after our trip accross the country for exactly the same as we paid for it. So, I heartily recommend this way instead of renting.). The title is clear. We had the van inspected last year, and the mechanic said it needed nothing and was ready to drive across the country, and we ended up keeping it. Now we're down-sizing and paying off credit card debt. That's why we're selling it. It passed Vermont safety inspection three weeks ago. The other pictures were taken before this section of the running board was reattached. So, the van looks better now than in the pictures. You'll be able to tow and power a lot of equipment with this rig. The very thorough tow package includes a Reese 10,000 lb trailer hitch, electric brake control (we've never used it), high-output 140 amp alternator, (and the 5 Liter V8). and transmission oil cooler. The AC blows warm. When we bought the van the mechanic said it needed a new hose -- $75 or $175 I can't remember -- and that probably didn't include the refridgerant refill. The transmission has overdrive and shifts and downshifts fine. Cruise works. Tires are good. This van runs very nicely. The view from the front seats is like a Imax theater, compared with smaller vans. The interior is very good condition, but the carpeting is stained and doesn't really look as good as the photos. The were spotted a few days ago before I cleaned them. I'll bet they clean out the rest of the way. The seats are as good as they look. My kids love this thing. The rear seats folds down to be a small bed. (My kids like to use this van for a clubhouse.) The legroom in the middle row is awesome. The battery is new, just installed a couple of months ago, along with the alternator. Last week I took it in to my mechanic to get the oil changed and inspect it for a cross-country trip (in case one of you is coming from far away). I had some more work done on the van. It has new oild and filter, new transmillion gaskets and rear seal (I think), new differential pinion seal, new power steering pump and reservoir, adn new serpentine belt. One roof carrier bracket is cracked. The van was garaged for most of its life. There is hardly a speck of rust on the body, not even in the wheelwells. 59K pampered miles. It's almost cherry. I'm happy with Paypal if you get the funds from your bank or Paypal balance and not from a credit card. I'm also selling various supplies and CAE software originally purchased for a prototype machine shop I used to operate in San Francisco. Just ask if you would like me to set up an auction for any of it. On Jun-30-11 at 04:39:20 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a transmission cooler mounted behind the grill in front of the air conditioner condenser. This gives extra cooling for towing. It is a very thorough tow package. I thought the engine is a 360. Another Ebayer has said that it has to be a 4.5 liter or a 5 liter. In any case it is a V8 and runs smoothly. On Jun-30-11 at 14:33:49 PDT, seller added the following information: It's a 5.0 V8. The engine belt installation sticker indicates it's a 5.0 or a 5.8. I called my mechanic: the VIN indicates its a 5.0 liter. I counted the spark plug wires on one side. It's a V8 . Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
