We are selling our 2000 Honda Accord EX 2-door automatic with about 93,800 miles, leather interior, cassette CD player, side and front airbags. We purchased the car from a private owner in January 2007 and we're selling it because we have a toddler and needed a 4-door, otherwise we'd still be driving it. The car comes with our Chilton Guide that is in very good condition (ISBN 0801991188: Honda Accord/Prelude 1996-00 Repair Manual). The title is clean. The timing belt, brakes and tires were replaced in March 2010. The battery was replaced in the last 2 years. We have kept recommended maintenance including oil changes, tire rotation, etc... The windshield wipers were replaced with new Rainex ones today and we recently had the car detailed. We had an issue 4 months ago where the car wouldn't start after shopping all day. We brought it into the mechanic and they did a scan and couldn't find any codes. This happened to us when we first bought the car and last year in a parking garage, mechanics did scans and there were no codes. We have AAA, but never had to call them when it happened as putting the car in drive or reverse quickly and getting the engine engaged gets it working again so we were able to drive it to the mechanic. As for the cosmetics it has your typical city bumper wear and a small dent (about 2 inches long) above one of the wheel wells. It was broken into on the passenger side about 4 years ago and we had the window replaced and vacuumed, but the perp leaned over the center module to pull the trunk and it center module moves very slightly. We don't lean over it so it so doesn't bother us and it's not that noticable. The passenger side plastic lever to lift the seat fell off of the metal post it was attached to, but can be fastened back on with adhesive, but we have been using the metal post. The leather interior in the car is great and the Sun/Moon roof work great as well. I do reserve the right to cancel the auction if the reserve is not met or to second chance offer it to the bidder that comes closest to the reserve price. I have to turn the plates in to Pennsylvania, so you must make arrangements to bring your own plate or temporary tags. If you win the auction, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours after auction end through Paypal to hold the car until we transfer the title at a AAA location where they will notarize the title. It's been like that for a while so I had forgotten about it.
