1972 DODGE Challenger 1972 Dodge Challenger; VIN# JH23GZB403300 Blue metalic paint, Black Vinyl Top, Blacked out Hood/scoop Approximately 79,000 miles on the odometer. Original motor is a 318 with a 904 automatic transmission, open 8.75 rear diff. 3.23 gears Black vinyl interior, bucket seats, center console, button shifter This is not a complete restoration. The engine compartment and back to the torsion bar crossmember was sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted to match the exterior of the car. Any rust that was found was cut out and replaced with new metal. The inside of the fenders were cleaned to bare metal, primed, and coated with a 2k urethane bedliner product. The entire front suspension was sandblasted, primed and painted, and rebuilt with new Moog parts. The drums were turned and the front and rear brakes are completely new. Other new parts include: radiator, master cylinder, battery pan, gas tank, fuel sender, electric fuel pump, 4-barrel Intake manifold, Holley 600cfm Carburetor, air cleaner. The original motor has been replaced with a 5.2 Magnum engine from a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. It runs strong, much better than the original engine which will go with the car. The frame and floors are in excellent shape. The Challenger was repainted around 1986. This is a fun car to drive. The hardest work has been done. It just needs a little TLC and a fresh coat of paint to the exterior.
