1978 Honda CR

Up for bid is my very good running 1978 ELSINORE CR250R. My name is Steve Benolkin. I am a 56 year old Bike Builder who has a proven track record of quality motor work. in 1980 I did the motor work for former pro riders that include: Tom Benolkin, the top privateer of the 1980 125 Nationals and former Factory Rider for Kawasaki in 1981-82. JoJo Keller, winner of Southwick AMA Pro 250 National. won both motos first privateer to beet all factory teams at a pro national.. Jim Benolkin, winner of the 1980 Amature National Championship's 250 Class,riding a year old 1979 cr250. Kenny Keylon, former Florida Super Star and Honda Factory Support Rider. I restored this very nice low hour CR for show.The motor is tight and ready to run, the carb was cleaned inspected then drained after i rode the bike to make sure it ran like a cr should. Due to the poor economy I decided to let this one go. It is very origonal ,the stock OEM forks still have origonal oil and seals that do not leak. The origonal swing arm protecting chain slider shows slight wear. It comes with the origonal steel rear sprocket ,OEM shocks that look like new and dampen perfect. The claw action front tire still has some of the nipples. I have invested many hours into this bike and I consider it to be as close to origonal as I can get, It has the stock OEM bars, OEM sidepanels, the frame was painted with color correct OEM Honda 2095 r23 tahitian red,the OEM pipe and silencer are perfect,the tank is perfect and comes with a custom billit gas cap, that I manufacture and sell in seperate listings.
