The incredible levels of flexibility offered by the Rocket's 2.3 litres, 147ft.lbf engine make for effortless riding whether two-up, fully-loaded with luggage, or solo. The sophisticated fuel-injection feeds in power seamlessly, with controlled acceleration on tap at the twist of a throttle, while maintenance-free shaft drive delivers forward motion to the rear rubber. Good lock-to-lock movement, an incredibly light clutch and a low centre of gravity make low speed manoeuvring extremely easy, while the steering geometry and overall length give a securely planted feel. 43mm upside down forks and twin rear shocks; twin disc front brakes with four-piston calipers and single disc rear and generous ground clearance complete the package, giving added composure and supple compliance. If you are looking for a Rocket III for a small cruiser price, then this is the one for you!!!! Condition: This bike has 30,205 miles on it and is still in great condition. Cosmetically it looks great with just a few blemishes as noted in the photos. There are two scratches in the left fork cover, as well as a small dent in the right side of the gas tank. Overall the paint is in great condition as well as the rest of the bike. There are no dents, dings or major scratches other than the ones listed above. This bike looks great for being 5 years old!!!!Mechanically this motorcycle is in great condition and starts easily and runs well. This bike will be prepped and ready by one of our certified technicians prior to the motorcycle going home. This bike will also come with a Maryland State Inspection for Maryland residents. Terms of Sale: This bike comes with a Clinton Cycles 50/50 Warranty, which covers 30 days or 1,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Warranty covers internally lubricated parts of the power train, engine and transmission. Clinton Cycles is to do ALL warranty work. Dealer is NOT responsible for the towing or any aspect of pickup or delivery of the motorcycle. It is the sole responsibility of the owner to make arrangements for pickups and deliveries. Warranty is for the motorcycle/scooter/ATV as it was delivered. Any modifications, accessories (both cosmetic and performance), or appearance will void this warranty. This warranty coverage also excludes neglect or abuse through excessive high speed use (above posted speed limits), racing or any competitive type use. All repairs, parts and labor will be billed out at current retail prices with the customer/buyer paying 50% (1/2) and Clinton Cycles responsible for the remaining 50% (1/2). Wearable items are not covered under this warranty, which include but are not limited to the following: clutch, brakes, lights, cables, tires, gaskets and seals. Extended service contracts are available for up to 3 years on selected models. Please ask sales representative for any additional information. This bike also comes with a “one time” lifetime battery warranty that covers the original battery installed at the time of delivery. A lifetime warranty can be purchased for any subsequent batteries you may purchase in the future and even on the replacement battery issued to you for the original, if necessary. This warranty is applicable to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Warranty excludes replacements due to negligence, damage, or sulfation or shipping of original or replacement battery. Verification of state of charge may occur at no expense to the customer. Battery warranty is for the battery (or an equivalent battery) alone and does not include any labor or installation or any environmental fees. Although a Battery Warranty may be purchased on any unit sold by Clinton Cycles, it is not applied to off-road units or scooters from the dealer. Title will be sent to buyer once payment clears. All of our motorcycles come off the showroom floor and are subject to the possibility of local sale prior to the end of the auction.
