1979 Honda Z50R

Long story short, loss of storage forces sale of this and a few other bikes. (check my other auctions for a 1973 ATC 70 and a 1986 z50) Up for sale is my 1979 Honda Z50R minitrail. 1979 was a big year for the z50. This was a transition year with a lot of "1 year only" parts. When I say transition year I mean the transition between the trail bike with headlights and goofy handlebars.....to a little dirtbike. The one year only parts include tall adjustable handlebars, exhaust shield, gas cap, and seat. This year also was the only year of this body style to use the older style brakes/wheels and rear brake pedal. With that said to find one original and in good shape is not easy. This z50 is a sweetheart. Certainly ridden but always cared for. Everything you see is original, never touched up or messed with. It runs just as good as it looks, the tires hold air, the brakes work great, and the tank is like new inside. Please look at all pictures and ask all questions before bidding. I can offer several shipping options for you to choose from: 1) I will deliver the bike to Forward Air in Newark NJ and load it in one of their containers for a fee of only $100 that will include new ratcheting tie-downs and locks that will be yours to keep. You must make all the arrangements and pay Forward Air their fee before I deliver the bike. You MUST use their container. Please check with them for rates @ WWW.FORWARDAIR.COM 2) There are several transportation services that will pickup and deliver door to door without crating. One that I have used with success is Federal Transport. You may contact them @ WWW.FUNTRANSPORT.COM There is no charge for my assistance with this option. 3) My favorite! You may make your own arrangements and I will assist you anyway I can on this end. This bike can be loaded with ease on to any type of vehicle you send. Again, there will be no charge for my assistance with this option.
