Vehicle Detail
1973 CHEVY IMPALA SMALL BLOCK 350 WITH AUTO TRANNY I purchased this car last year in hopes to do a total restoration. My job is slow and do not have the funds to do anything with the car, so it must go. Please serious bidders only. The Impala is in ok shape and is being sold as-is, project car. It does have some rust. It has been repainted a while back, (the worst paint job i have ever seen on anything), and there is putty in lower corners, wheel wells, and lower doors. typical spots for these cars. From under the car there is a few small rust spots in truck that looked to be patched from inside, and drivers side floor looks to be patched as well. Small are in front of passenger side frame will need some attention. The lines on the car are strait with no big dents. Only a few dings. I have stripped most of the trim and moldings off of the car getting it ready for body work. I believe most of trim was there but some were damaged. Also previous owner painted trim and bumpers with silver paint, so they will need to be repainted or stripped and buffed to look good again. There is green over spray on most of the trim that wasn't painted silver. The interior of the car, less the seats is all out. All the door panels are in excellent condition, but seats will need recovering. Previous owner tried to cover the dash but ripped it off so it is covered with glue, I do have a black cover for it which i will include. This car has a small block 350 in it and does have A/C. I do not know if it works, never tried it. Car does start right up and after running for a few minutes, idles smooth. Smokes some, but that may be from sitting, and i think there's an exhaust leek. Other than around the block i haven't driven the car but tranny shifts smoothly into forward and reverse. I do have the original title in hand from original owner, clean with no liens. I have tried to be as informative as possible about the car so there is no surprises. Please bid accordingly. Again, this is not a show car but with little TLC could be road worthy. Please feel free to ask any questions or if you need more pictures. A $200 deposit is required at the end of auction, and full payment is expected with in 7 days. I do not know of any shipping companies so if need buyer is responsible for setting everything up, but i will assist where i can. Thanks and good luck
