Offered for auction is a Shelby Mustang Eleanor Continuation built by Unique Performance. If you are into Shelbys and or really like the Eleanors this may be your opportunity. I have done some research and have found that it would cost well over 20k to duplicate this body and would not have the Shelby history. And of course it would not include all the hassle to get it this far.This is a great opportunity for Mustang Lovers. For all who are not familiar with Unique Performance. They were a company partnered with Carroll Shelby to build approximately 1000 continuation Eleanor Shelbys. Long story short "as i was informed" is that the Feds stepped in and shut them down for vin tampering. Only a hand full were finished. I believe this one was the 54th being built as indicated by the paint marking on the body. Everything was auctioned off by the Feds and this is one of the super rare cars that they were building. The body is nearly done with all the special modifications. There is a title but i was told it is not transferable (pictured below). The vin was removed, so you will have to contact your local state DMV and find out what you need to do to title it. Most states have no problem doing this but you may want to check before bidding. I have also contacted the Shelby Licensing Department to find out how to put it in the Shelby registry. They informed me that a License could be available but would have to be purchased through them. If you are interested in Registering it in the Shelby Registry, i recommend that you contact them before bidding. This auction is for the BODY only. "AS PICTURED". Please do not hesitate to ask questions or come to inspect it prior to bidding. Included is the rear bumper and corner pieces. As everything we sell it is being auctioned as is and in this case, where is. It will be up to the buyer to make shipping arrangements. I will assist if possible. I am willing to store the car for a bit but arrangements will have to be made before the end of the auction For all you Shelby Mustang people this is a chance to purchase a very rare Mustang and no doubt will be part of Carroll Sheby's legacy.
