1979 Honda 750L / 750K You are bidding on a rare 1979 750L 10th Anniversary motorcycle. We are the third owners of the bike. It is rare to find a bike 32 years old in this shape! This is by far the best 1979 750 I have seen. When I first purchased this bike 1.5 years ago I was amazed the condition of the bike. It looks like a bike that has only seen a few years of riding. Purchased in 1980 the second owner owned it for 30 years and took extremely good care of the bike as you will see in the pictures. Always garaged the bike is in exceptional shape. This a limited production 10th Anniversary Honda 750L, the first year of the double over head cams.Serial numbers for this model started at RC0I-3000006. The Honda runs and drives very well. It has 18,349 miles on it. All light work as they should. The Comstar Honda rims are in great shape. No rips or tears in the seat of back pack. The back pack has a few loose stitches. Paint shines with very few nicks or light scratches, it is 32 years old. Chrome is in very,very nice shape with very little pitting. Engine aluminum is super clean. Frame shines, all of the chassis decals are complete. The pictures are of the bike uncovered and taken out of the heated garage on a 46 degree winter day here in Wisconsin. Not washed and waxed for pictures. Back to the garage and under the cover, the 46 degrees did not last that long. Here is a bike that you can wash & wax and take to the vintage bike shows with no work needed! Only needing a new rider. Included in the sale is the original tool kit for the 10th anniversary 750, they came in a leather bag ( bottom worn out from road vibration ) and the tools were chrome plated. As far as I know these were the only bikes with the chrome plated tools and leather bag marked 10th anniversary. The non stock items are the plexi glass faring ( very nice ), crash bar with hi way pegs, mirrors may not be stock and the super trap exhaust. I have a after market repair manual and few other odds and ends that will be sold with the bike. Never dumped, never dropped.Clear Wisconsin title.There was a low milage 750L that sold lately Ebay as a Barn find in the $3500 range, MY opinion this 750L is MUCH nicer from the pictures I saw.
